Halloween

Good Evening All,

Halloween is quickly approaching, we are already 3 days into October, so I decided to start my halloween card making. Some of you started months ago but I do not have too many people to give halloween cards to, so starting now will be fine for me. I'm thinking I will make around 10 cards tops. I will probably do a treat box of some sort also.  Halloween is my second favorite holiday (if you condsider it being a holiday). Well, here is my card.

Supplies Used

Card Share

Good Morning All,

Hope everyone had a wonderful week. I truly cannot complain about my week at all. I was off from work for 9 days so far and before I go back I would have been off for 11 days so you all can imagine how my week was considering I didn't have to go to work. Lasnight, the family and I went to dinner at Joe's Crab Shack, I must say that I was truly impressed, Joe's first impression was definitely a lasting one. Since, I been off I've been living in my craft room which I love to do. It's my little haven. I rearranged it, I may take some pictures or do a room tour. I like this set up better than the last one. It appears that I have more room now. I also decided to rearranged the bookself that I used for storage as well as displaying some of my creations and creations made by others through swaps. Well, I did not come to talk about my room so enough of that until I share it with you all..

Okay, so I just added something to my list of mutli tasking writing this blog share. Awww man almost intercepted... ooops lol got a little distracted by the game play...Okay so onto my Altered Frame. This canvas was created for a challenge between Lisa (Scrapin 2010 of you tube) De (Paper as Frabric of you tube) the challenge was mine. The rules were to create a painted canvas with a vintage look, a stamped image, 3 different embellishments and place somewhere in our craft rooms. Take a look at what I came up with:

Scrapbook Layout

Hello All,

Today I would like to share with you a page layout that I created. I haven't created a layout in over a year. Actually, this layout was a challenge from one of my good scrapping friends she is also known as Paper As Fabric (De) on you tube. The challenge was to create a layout using a sketch of De's choice. We had to use a paper collection or paper that we were not really fond of, that wasn't pleasing to our eyes and made us questioned why we purchased it in the first place. We also had to use exact measurements, I am no good with  measurements but I accomplished the challenge.  Here is my layout

Supplies Used

 K&Co Paper Stack (Sea Glass)
Cricut Cuts (Create a Critter)
Rit Rat
Lindys Stamp Gang (Sea foam green)
Distress Ink (Walnut Stain)

Another altered project

I just can't get enough of altering frames. I keep saying to myself that I am not going to alter another frame until I complete another project other than an altered frame. Then what do you know I am altering a frame.  It's just one of my many infatuations in crafting. The joy I get out of crafting is indescribable. I just Love it..... So, I guess you know what I am getting ready to share with you... You got it another altered frame. This frame is for my friend Lisa (Scrappin 2010) from You Tube. I agreed to a swap with her and instead of sending her goodies (because she already have everything) I decided to alter her a dollar frame from Michaels. I hope she likes it... So, here is the frame that I altered for my friend Lisa.

Sweet Life

Today's card is a card I created for The Outlawz  CAS challenge. I had to incorporate strawberries while keeping the card Clean and Simple. Once I saw the challenge I knew I had some paper in my stash with strawberries on it. I do not have any stamps with fruit (just added that to my things I need list) I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the paper but I worked it out. I created 2 cards out of it. I'm trying to cut down on having a ton of scraps in my scrap draw. I liked how my cards turned out. So, take a look and tell me what you think.

supplies used

Pattern Paper (unknown) single sheets
Ribbon Offray
Spellbinders Dies (Lg Circles and Blossoms)
Stamp Sentiment (Michaels Dollar Bin)

That's it for now... Please leave  a comment and if you like follow me and if I haven't already I will return the favor.

2nd Post of the Day

I am trying to  make up for lost time. It feels good to be in my room again, I was determined to spend majority of my day in my room. I did some straightening up in here plus entered some challenges, worked on some projects that were already in progress. I'm also trying to keep up with the Olympics.... I love watching the Summer Olympics. My favorite are the women Gymnast, then Volleyball. On to my 2nd project of the day... This was just a simple card I made using my scraps... I had to separate my scraps into color so that I can create something with them... I still try to use my scraps before starting on a new piece of paper. It's hard to do when you are entering challenges especially the color challenges.... Okay with that said here is my card. Have a wonderful week!!

Sexy Photo Frame

It's been way tooooooo LONG,

Hello all, I could not go another day without posting something to share, not mentioning that I am on vacation. I spent my birthday day and vaction at National Harbor.... It is very pretty here but we are going home today and believe me I will be in my craft room doing some crafting. Before I go home I will be stopping at Michaels to use my 50% off coupon (expires today) plus get some more of the jetmax cubes that are now 50% off too (that ends today as well) I would like to briefly share why I haven't posted any projects over a month. As you all know if you been keeping up with my blogs in the past, I work a full time job and have a small business on the side (I PRAY that one day it will become my PRIMARY JOB) and have family that wants a lot of my attention. So my crafting time is limited. I returned back to work after a minor surgery that had me out of work for 2 months and 10 days and had an event to do so that set me back from my crafting. The event is over but the job is still here so I will still have to manange my time properly so that I can get some crafting in. I go back to work from vacation in August so I should be able to do a little more... Well that is why I haven't been posting... On to my project, this project was made for my last event it:

SUPPLIES USED

Michaels $1 Frame
Tim Holtz Grunge Board
Metal Sheet (Making Memories)
Metal Key Charm
Metal Charm (used as a handcuff)
Studs w/ adhesive back
Tim Holtz (bottle) filled with food coloring and water

Black Acrylic Paint
