Spring Time

Today I would like to share a card I created for a challenge over at Outlawz, one of the DT members was feeling springy so the challenge was to create a card with the colors GREEN, PINK  and YELLOW.. I accomplished the task at hand. I am a little behind with my projects, I have been enjoying the weather and running errands that needed to be taken care of. So I have to post when I can, I don't want to get to far behind in my blogging though. Well, I guess I better show my cars and go because I have another challenge to complete and I wanna get to bed a little earlier than normal.

Have a wonderful Evening

Monday's Card

Hello everyone,

It's been a couple of days since I posted a  project. I  was being harassed by my sweetie about quality time. You all know how that goes. I hope everyone had an awesome weekend. I really enjoyed mine even though I was not crafting and the weather was great. Honestly it was too beautiful out to be inside all weekend. Today has been a rainey day so what better time than now to get some crafting done. On to my project, this card was made for a co worker of mine who lost her husband.

Hump Day Card

It's the middle of the week already, time is truly flying. I have had a busy week, but I still found time to make a card or two. I am having a blast making cards and posting them on my blog for the few people that stop by I hope that changes pretty soon. I am loving all of the inspiration I am getting from other bloggers blogs (say that three times)challenges and sketches. My card turnover has doubled in the last few weeks and I am totally proud of that. Hopefully I can keep it up..I can't say it enough Card making, Crafting etc. is sooooo relaxing. Todays card was entered in the Greeting Card Challenge over at The Outlawz Monday Challenge (Yeah Yeah, I'm late, better late than never) I enjoyed making this card.

Have a Wonderful Hump Day!!!

Tuesday Card

Good Morning, I have a few errands to run this morning so I decided to share a card with you. I am going to enter this card into the Our Creative Corner Challenge and The Sentimental Sunday Challenge. This was a sketch challenge(for CCC), I figured out that I love these kinds of challenges. It makes things a lot easier. It still took me a while to make because I could not figure out what sentiment to place on the card. I mean if it isn't one thing it's another. For SS you had to embellish using something with a B (Buttons, Brads, Bling, Burlap etc) Oh Yeah it had to be a birthday card, So that solved my dilemma. I really enjoyed making this card and love how it turned out.

Another Late Night

Have you ever been so excited that you could not sleep? Well, that's me tonight, this morning however you wish to put it. I would first like to say that I had a really relaxing, calming, quiet Mother's Day. I finished all of my house work Saturday so that I could relax on Mother's Day. I spent some time with my daughter and grand daughter. Then I went to the movies with my Sweetie. Once I returned home that's when the excitement began, I found a new community called Outlawz and it appeared to be a nice community so I wanted to take a look around. I was welcomed warmly by some of the other members. I was able to find some sketches and was excited to try some of them. I even joined a group and entered into one of the challenges. It's called Clean and Simple (CAS). You had to make a birthday card nothing all embellished up or anything just simple. That was right down my alley so I created the card below in less than an hour. Then I even used my scraps to create another one for Mother's Day and speaking of Mother's Day I did not complete all the cards that I wanted to but I did complete some..... Without rambling on any further here is the cards that I made for CAS.

Supplies Used
DCWV Linen Closet Stack
Tin Holtz Alteration Die (the one with the Tag)
Stamp by Stampendous Ranuncuis Field
Le Plume II markers
Brads by MME Lost and Found II collection
Memento Ink Rich Cocoa

Down to the wire for Mother's Day cards

We only have 3 1/2 hours left until Mother's day... It's looking like a long night and duplicate Mother's Day cards for me. I had house cleaning to do today and with breaks, lunch, youtube, checking blogs, telephone ringing, playing words with friends and hanging with friends and more breaks, I couldn't get much card making done. So this is gonna be a late late night for me.. I did complete one card that I am gonna share with you all. Hope the lucky receiver of this card likes it...

Getting a Card in before Midnight

Hello Everyone, I just wanted to get a card in before Midnight... Why? I have no idea maybe I thought my craft room would turn in to a pumpkin or all my craft supplies and equipment would vanish... What if that were true. We all would have hundreds of projects on deck to post...LOL.. Well, anyway enough of the kidding around. My card was created based on a Magnolia stamp that I had colored with my copic markers but I had selected the wrong patterned paper and cardstock. I had to go into my scraps and match up some papers to go along with my image.

Supplies Used
Stamp Magnolia Dancing Tilda
Card Stock Recollections (kraft) and DCWV (Mi Casa - Patterned)
Ribbon Ribbon Boutique
Flowers Wild Orchid Crafts ( WOC) I am Roses (IAR) and Recollections
Bling Dollar Bin @ Michaels
Die Cut Spellbinders Labels Nine
Fiskars Border Punch Upper Crest, Martha Stewart Punch Eyelet Lace
Silver Stickles

HAPPY NATIONAL SCRAPBOOKING DAY

Hello All, and Again Happy National Scrapbooking Day... I haven't posted a video in a couple of day because I am on vacation. When I planned this vacation I wasn't thinking that this was the month of National Scrapbooking Day (what a bummer) I missed last year because I had to work and told myself that I would not miss this year and here I am up in the mountains (Deep Creek). I tried to change the dates but I couldn't get out of the commitment, the good thing is I did bring some supplies but not nearly as much as I wanted too. So hopefully I can make something. I haven't started on anything yet but I do have some pictures of the scenery. You all enjoy your day and I will be checking in and out throughout the day.

Have a Wonderful Day!
