Altered Frame

Hello, The weekend is officially over and it's back to work for some and doctor appointments and therapy for others (me). I hope everyone had a safe and productive weekend. I must admit I could get use to not going to work and crafting majority of the day. The only thing is how would my bills get paid, better yet how would I get to purchase more crafting supplies. Well, I guess I'll be back to work when it's time. Unless I hit the lotto, or inherit some money from a long lost aunt, uncle or some one. Wishful thinking huh.. Enough of that, today I wanna share with you an altered frame I made, it wasn't made for anyone special or for any reason besides something to alter. It's one of the wooden dollar frames that you can purchase from Michaels or maybe your local craft store. I love the way it turn out.

This card was made with the scraps (still using my scraps) from the Graphic 45 Altered Box I made for my mother.

I really enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends can't get enough of it. I know you all can relate to what I am saying. Okay so now on to my project for today... as I was reading through some of your blogs and seeing your creativeness I ran across several challenge blogs that I would like to participate in. So I decided to participate in the following Challenges: My Craft Spot, and Fantabulous Cricut. The challenge is: Things That Go, you have make a card or other project - must include things that go...car, bike, boat, etc.) So here is what I came up with... Please comment and follow...

Altered Box for my Mommy

Wanted to show you all a box that I altered for my mommy. My mother would come into my craft room and see some of my finished projects and ask if she could have some of them and I would say I will make you one, I wanna keep that one for myself. Most of the time I will never make another one. So I said I'm gonna alter a box for my mother. I decided to make her a box using the Graphic 45 stack(Steampunk). I also used a making memories charm (that says cherish) a butterfly and heart charm, Tim Holtz adage tickets and corner pieces, some Recollections pearls, flowers, flat back pearls, trim, glossy accents and I also used the Tim Holtz Alteration Gadget and Gears Die to cut out the gears. This is the front of the box can you see my little butterfly?
This is the side of the box, I just love those recollections pearls
This is the back of the box
On the inside of the box I just made a little pocket and added some recollections roses and flat back pearls.
The bottom of the box I decided to use the same paper from the sides.

I can't even say what happened because I don't know.
